Interpretation of a inconvenient truth

This happens every day;unnatural
The basis of this movie was to convince you that global warming is real. However this movie does not describe whether it is it real in a straight forward manner. Al Gore dances around the subject, and tells stories instead of getting to the point. His subjectivity of a subject that is highly objective, shows you that he is biased. Instead of showing the pros and the cons, he shows you a lot of nature photos and wants you to associate his message with nature. I think that his message is very persuasive and
his efforts to portray himself as humble, leads to him appearing untruthful.  He compares and contrasts a lot, I think as a persuasive device. He also makes parts of the movie very emotional and then transitions into solemnness which takes his viewers on a emotional roller-coaster. One way he does this is by telling of the person he knew that died, this person only relates to Global Warming in a round about way.He tries to gain the support of his audience by telling facts with a lot of evidence to back him up, while this gains our confidence in him, he also dances around the topic and tells stories instead of getting to the point which drops the audiences defenses. Al Gore also attempts to portray himself as humble and caring, as he tells stories and shows

pictures of himself in his youth and tries to associate himself as a caring individual and nature oriented. Also, I think to confuse his audience he tells evidence repeatedly. And while he has a lot of diagrams and photos, he never actually comes to a point and tells what has to be done so that global warming can be fixed. He also never directly insults his audience by saying that they are the ones that are doing the pollution and therefore  bear the blame for the global warming, which makes me come to the conclusion that this was a way to run for some office. Al Gore, also, never really smiles inside of his intro , he maintains a somber expression while laying down the facts to his audience. While he does dramatize his facts, I do partially agree with him about Global Warming. I think Global Warming is going on and I and everyone needs to take a stand against it in order to keep this world ready for our children. Some facts can be strained out of this movie to help people understand Global Warming. This world is going to drown unless we stop pollution. We have to recycle and stop dirty energy. Movies tell of the ocean level rising, and it is good learn from dramatized politicians and sci-fi movies what facts we can to better ours and the next generations lives.

Influential Social Media Greats

                                                                              Social Media Greats

My list are based on people and objects that I feel made a change and differences in the world. I try to stay accurate. These list are only official to me and some times the list will be made bigger or smaller. All their contributions are considered and thanked equally.

The world at your finger tips.
What is your stop?

  • Social Media(these people have changed the way news is carried across the world and how people think and act).
  1. YouTube creators- Jawed Karim, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley- they changed the way we watch videos. People use this to audition or for a games walk-through. Some people even upload informative videos on mathematics and medicine. Many teachers use this as learning devices.
  2. Facebook creator- Mark Zuckerburg- he created a new world. A new way news travels and a way to connect generations, races and continents. A large amount of the world's population is on Facebook. There are few people even do not know what it is.
  3. Twitter founder- Biz Stone, Evan Williams, Noah Glass, and Jack Dorsey-these people have given the world another site that connects many people. Celebrities use it, ordinary people use it.While Twitter is all inclusive the messages, are limited to 140 characters. But that does not stop fans the largest account has 36 million followers.
  4. Google founder-Larry Page and Sergey Brin- these creators have created a go to search engine. While many people say Google is going to be phased out, this process will take many years seeing the vastness of such a engine. Google has bought out countless companies and entered into numerous partnerships. Originally created in 1998 it is still on-top.
  5. Wikipedia founder-Jimmy Wales and Angela Starling- they created a public online encyclopedia, that is not only offers the regular services of a encyclopedia. But also more, they talk about current news and can be edited by anyone. This is not necessarily a good thing though, many teachers do not use it or allow the use of it, because it is not considered reliable. But if you have something to ask real quick it comes in handy having always up to date news and links. And if you cannot find something there, you can always edit it your self. While this is not exactly social media it deserved notable mention.

The Opaque eye

                                                                                What we see?

Daydreaming could be a
escape

What is your view, what is your ideas of the world? Are you optimistic or pessimistic is the glass half full or half empty? Are you even in this world at this moment? Where are you? Well, I asked you these questions to show you that I have no idea where you are, and the world I live in could be much different from the world you live. When I say world I do not mean planets and universes, I mean your mental state. I have already stated in previous blogs that I think we all live in the same physical world. But what happens in your mind and what happens in your life are only related by a thread.

Daydreaming is a tool for life
You may say why? Well, they are 2 different worlds and it really depends on how much time you spend in each. Do you daydream your day away? Or are a real into life person? Or are you both? Because you can live in the mental state people call daydreaming for 3/4 of your life and survive without truly living. I define life as the place where you progress and do not control every aspect. So are you in life. People spend there days doing various activity going to college, getting married, eating, driving and raising children. All of these activities include you being engaged, or your supposed to be. But are you? I sincerely do not know. Most people would never willing tell. But you can see that many people to escape boring or non-interesting task they escape using daydreaming. And while daydreaming is shown to increase creativity, when is it to much? And how do you measure this? The answer I think is impossible to determine, you may say I give up easily, but I think that such a answer is impossible. Their are to many people in the world and all of them are to different. Diversity is a thing that makes this world non-calculable. While daydreaming is a good tool, it should be used when the user does not have to engage themselves in other task. Living your life in a world that is separate and completely different from the one that holds your life, is dangerous. We all have to make a effort and try to change this world into a approachable environment. And when I say everybody I mean you, everybody, in the entire the world. Messages should have no racial filters and political boundaries.

My Blog: Uncensored

                                                                        UNCENSORED

Free writing: Anything goes

You only speak once:
LIVE WRITE NOW
Free Verse Challenge:
My brain child
My blog is supposed to about to be about whatever I want it to be. So I decided to Free Write. My Psychology textbook said that free writing helps creativity and who does not want to be creative. So I basically write whatever comes to mind and whatever is really cool or trending in my mind at the moment and then I put clever, strategically placed pics to highlight my point even more than it is already highlighted. This blog however is not just about my point it is also about factual evidence that I gather. Because this blog has, if anything, given me a voice . One louder than it was before. I find numerous things that interest me and that I find exciting, and then I blog about it. Like my the amazing world series, I have found, over the years and by surfing Google numerous works of arts that I think need mention. These buildings and places are truly awesome and need notable mention. I think that the 7 wonders of the world is small and noninclusive, including the modern one. So I fixed it, sort of. Anyway, I put up a list of things I liked, because I thought it was cool and it really outlines what I like, at least some of it. I have a lot of plans for it to like a list of notable people and a series of post on baffling facts. And nothings funner than not editing, free writing means no editing. I hate editing, but I do a little, to keep it making sense. Apparently you cannot put adult content on school blogs or write them in a different language (even though I do have a translator). I would not put adult content on it anyway, my blog will always be family friendly. I thought it was necessary to ask, though. Decency is a principle to me. The rest of the blogs were about pressing issues, like water, pollution, and technology's affect on the world. I started slow though, my first post were small and descriptive. My first month only had 2 post. But I am faster now and I see more things I want to respond to. Anyway I am going to create another list and maybe another on important dates. I am also going to write about pictures that I feel have deeper meaning and express feelings. My first one was not that good, but the only bad opinion is no opinion. So good bye, I write post, edit them and then post at a later date so my blog is always moving.

The amazing World #3

                                                            The World we live in

The Power Of Words

                                                       The Right

We are words
A tool to express words
A game of words
Words are the base of many extraordinary ideas and changes. Words are the base opinions. But not only are Words the base of change, but pictures are to. That however is something totally different. People communicate through words and other means, but those things are also some other topic entirely. This post is about words and their power. When I first entered college I looked at words as merely mundane objects and something overrated. Now however I see that words are useful life changing devices. I call them devices, because phones and cars are considered devices and words have had the equivalent effect on us. People like Martin Luther King Jr., Barack Obama, Rachel Carson and Hilary Clinton have all used words to change the world to believe their opinion. These people believed in something, created a belief and made it real through words. Words can be expressed through anything such as blogs, newspapers, letters, lectures, power-points etc. They used words to express themselves and their belief. And words can be expressed by anyone young or old, any race and any financial standing. We can use Words to say we want a job, we dislike pollution or we want equality. And words are not just limited to a single language, but can be used by Russian, Japanese, Australian or Greek languages. Words are a right and in America, Freedom of Speech is valued and given to it's citizens. While we Americans may have a right to express themselves through words, many countries do not have this right.
A picture is worth a thousand
words; a thousand words are
worth a picture.
We have to treasure this and use it responsibly. This right can be used to change our lives and others, sometimes we may be oppressed but we can use our right of words to change. People can feel differently and change things that is what we must realize. Our word matters, and usually there are many people with the same opinion as ours. This validates us and makes it so we know that people share our opinion and we have support to express our right. But not always are we right. Sometimes we are wrong, and what then? Sincerely I do not know. People don't like saying they are wrong, the most I can say is we have to be mindful of our behavior. We must think severely before speaking and think 200 times before we speak. Sometimes our minds can over speak our mouths, meaning we can say things that are best censored. So in short words can be used to better us and our surrounding, but they can be used to hurt and destroy. We must be careful.

Water and My views

                                                          Water: My View

My previous blog post on water were based on some factual evidence, other than my personal views. This one focuses on only my views and a response on a picture , I saw recently. This picture shows the areas that have very few access to water in dark red. From this photo I can see that the areas that need more clean water are mostly Africa and Asia. North America, Canada, Russia and Australia have the least need for Water. Also European countries and few African Countries have accessible water. Water is the most important aspect of our lives. Money is second, because you need water to survive. People inside of these countries with accessible water who want items that are not needed for enjoyment and those who waste. Every time you waste water or other needed items think of those who need them. Think that you are more fortunate. Even though there are many things I want and need I think that there are people out there who do not have even the most bare resources. Water is needed for survival, with a planet that is basically made of water, why are some people without water? There is no excuse. I was asked to create a blog for school and I now realize the power of words. We all have a opinion and we have to say as much as possible with these words. We have the power to change and help. These people without water can be helped if we take immediate action. We all have realize our own part in this  problem. We have to help. We are Earth and Earth is us.
Water is needed, we have opinions. Put those 2 together
to create a solution.

The Amazing World #2

                                                                    The world we live in.
The Gherkin

The Baltic Exchange
The Gherkin is a skyscraper that is located in London, United Kingdom. It is a office that is 41 floors, and is 591 feet high. It was completed in December of 2003, but was opened in April of 2004. It is an example of London's modern structures. The place where this building stands was once where the Baltic exchange stood, until a tragic event took place. A amazing feature is that this building only has
1 piece of curves glass that is on the very top. The dome on the top is a shared feature of the Baltic Exchange.

Shi Cheng
Shi Cheng
Shi Cheng  is a city in China that was submerged under water. Shi Cheng is 1300 years old. And the city was submerged under about 100 feet of water. The lake was Lake Qiandao. The city was somewhat preserved, even though made of wood and under so much water. It was submerged in 1959 and has been submerged for 44 years. There were 5 gates, 6 streets and 265 arches to this magnificent city. So many ways this city is like Atlantis.

The roads of life

The world we live in like a gem,
with so many facets.
                                                                          Paths of life
So many paths, so many decisions.
Sometimes the path is dark and lonely.
Do not despair.

I have analyzed the world we live in to not be linear. And have analyzed this world to have many facets and areas. And to be heavily influenced by the paths of life that we take. First analyze the paths that can be taken in a person's life. One path takes them down a path never traveled and the other takes them another path that has never been traveled. So which do they take? Which path will lead to success? No one can tell, because many paths have smaller paths that also lead in different directions. So how do we determine which path to take? We determine which path to take by learning all we can and being mindful. Whats more is that these paths are not physical paths, but decisions that we must make over the course of our life. And by taking certain routes we are not only affecting our life but the lives around us, and therefore the world. People do not always think that life can change for the good or the bad in merely seconds or decades. They tend to focus on the bad in their life and how that bad is constantly hurting their life. But the paths of life can lead you to good and happiness. They are also directly affected by your actions and your environment. Also peoples paths cross constantly. So we have to stay mindful of what we do and remember that as fast as one is destroyed or crossed another one is created. We cannot stay with our heads in the clouds and try not to recognize what is happening with our lives. We have to be sure of what we do and how we do it, because even though every path will not lead to success some will. And the ones that do not will be examples for others.

The road we take

The world is what we make it

Many people make excuses for others behavior and for their own. But the reality is that humans make some conditions themselves. They place blame on others in a futile effort to make themselves feel
better. But placing blame is only a very cowardly human trait. And when I say human trait, I do not know other lifeforms that do this. The human reality is that for many years they are dependent on others for life support and then they must become independent. While this is not everybody it is the human norm. Humans develop a functionality over this time, that is supposed to carry them for their life. They can affect this by their own views and actions. By going to school, making decisions and creating relationships and connections, we are systematically changing our lives.

We all are direction and we also need it.
We are like Waves.
But people can see that through making certain decisions, we are affecting our life. Once a decision is made or a action is taken their is no button that makes it go away, a button that can rewind life. We have to realize this and try to make the best of life so that we do not have regrets. People have to realize that there are many paths that their life can take if they take any path. The world is a diverse environment and every moment of our existent we are influencing it with our personalities and our actions. But a fish splashes it's tail, bird's flap their wings and humans live. And when I say live I mean that there is no set behavior for them as they are all so different. So far I have analyzed humans that are all different but share some similarities with others. We are like waves constantly moving and always different. We change our environment for better or for worse without any thought for the future generation or anyone else. We set ideals and create stereotypes. We pollute and endanger species. We have to realize that the world is what we make it and that we are not the only people here. We are not the only lifeforms. There are deer, whales, polar bears and the human future generation that we share this Earth with. We have to be responsible and choose the right path. We have to care and be guardians of this land we call home. There are no excuses this is your home and this your life so protect it and live it up.

Yourself in 10 years

                                                                   The future of  you
Constantly moving

Human Progression.

Can you feel this?
Do you agree?
What do see yourself as 10 years? Do you have a job? Do you have a family? Are you happy? While everyone is case sensitive there are some similar constants. Like the human maturing of life, humans tend to live in the moment, not looking toward the future. They feel as if the world is not going to change or that is going to change. They miscalculate how important their actions are. But in 10 years or 1 year your life changes can affect you so much. It can change noticeably or in very unnoticeable ways. But in every way it changes and defines you. Many people within months or years of their life develop diseases, attend college, get married, die, gain 20 pounds, lose 10 pounds or grow a inch. The change does not however just affect humans it affects the Earth and all of it's lifeforms as well. Around Thanksgiving many Turkeys develop life changes by their families being slaughtered by hunters. Other animals die of poisoning , go lame or their habitats are destroyed. That is why many humans decide to think in contrast, others lives are worse so their is relatively good. But that is not so. As humans we constantly move and develop. So back to the question, what do you see yourself as in 10 years? It depends on who you are, I however will be in my late 20's and I hope to have a job in nursing. If you do not look that far you should because life and Earth are moving extremely fast and if you stop for even a moment you will fall behind. People should see success for themselves in the future, they should be self satisfied. What is success though? Success is defined as being able to succeed in the progressing world. That means having a financial source and being resilient. Also your life does not have to be stereotyped or what others want it to be. You should be happy, as the life you made is yours. Social restrictions are however applied to many parts of your life for safety and because of human fads. In short, you should prepare, and set goals for the next decade or this decade of life. The question "what will you be in 10 years?" can only be answered by you though. There is a saying "that a butterfly flapping it's wing in America will affect the wind in Japan".

The Amazing World 1#

                                                                 Amazing Structures

Mcmurdo Buildings
Mcmurdo Station is a U.S. Antarctic research station. It is located on the tip of Ross Island in Antarctica. It is the largest community in  Antarctica, capable of holding 1,258 people. Mcmurdo
was mentioned in many literature and movies, including the TV series Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. While science is the primary focus for the station, only about a small amount are scientist. The rest are for construction, maintenance and etc. So most of the residents do not even stay for the winter. A heliport, more than airfield(2 being seasonal), a harbor and Antarctica's only ATM. Also the station is so vast it has over 100 out-buildings. They have hydroponics to grow vegetables and fruits.

The color of the Marianna Trench
The Marianna Trench is the deepest part in the world's oceans. It is the area in the world as well. The depth is approximately 11,033 meters.Mount Everest could fit inside it with a little over 2,000 meters left. It is it 1,580 miles long  and 43 miles wide. The pressure is at least 8 tons per square inch. Life forms that survive inside of this region naturally are adapted in such ways that they can survive the extreme cold and heat, pressure, harsh conditions(acidity), lack of light and abundant food sources. One such life form, the Angler fish has a light that hangs over it's face to attract it's victims(meals). The strongest bacteria can withstand 113 Celsius and the strongest animal (a crab) can withstand 50 Celsius. Scarily there has been some speculation that the trench could possibly be used to dispose of nuclear waste. While this is prohibited by law, there are even greater natural effects of this. Including contaminated ocean lifeforms and the waste coming back to shore. Also many countries such as Japan live in this region they would be hit first by its bad effects.
